No Harm to Animals
A) The thorns are short and their apex is purposely made with a radius.
B) Any painful effect can only be due to pressure applied to the thorns and as cats & possums only weigh a small amount, they are unable to exert harmful pressure.
C) The thorns are spaced to ensure that animals are made uncomfortable, yet not hurt.
D) Cats and possums have very keen eyesight and excellent survival skills. They easily recognize the Thorny Devil spikes from a distance; and once they have encountered them, they generally choose to modify their behaviour.
E) Thorny Devils are low harm, obvious and benign.

After seeing the flat Securi-Cap in your show room I beleive I have found the perfect solution to my “Pidgeon Problem”.
For the last few years I have had pidgeons stooping on a window ledge close to my front door. These pidgeons have left droppings all over my porch which is unsighlty, costly to clean and embarassing when people come over. I have always been limited in what I can do to deal with the problem because I haven’t wanted to use any toxic chemicals or devices that can harm the pidgeons.
At wits end, and prepared to try anything, I lay the flat Securi-Caps over the window ledge and to my absolute relief, the pidgeons have not returned. I see the pidgeons on the street and in the trees and back garden but they are no longer stooping on my porch.
